POWERFUL video. Shockingly, it was less about her fashion and more about getting her message/story across. Rihanna’s acting was pretty decent and always, she was sexy yet innocent. That good girl peeks out every now and then you know.
Now in reference to the imagery, I loved the water scene. It was like Little Mermaid when she sold her voice to Ursela for a chance at love with Eric and was rising to the surface. I also like when she was in front the car. She just looked stunning in that shoulder dress (I said less about fashion, not all the way). kudos to the Creative director and the her stylist as always. Oh yeah, and that actor, HOT!
Lady Gaga definitely takes all the purity out of love when she describes it with her music/videos but I love her ideas of love songs because it’s an approach that not everyone chooses to take. I enjoyed the fashion, the closeups of her beautiful eyes and the dancing.
This video was done in classic Diddy Fashion. A lot of lights, a lot of flash, and that same ole two step that I can’t get enuff of!! The lead girl aint that pretty so I think that’s why he added all that EXTRA drama with the styling/effects(sorry don’t hate me @IamDiddy). Still cute tho. Video gets 2 thumbs up!
Was it me or was Beyonce, excuse me “Sasha Fierce” extra ghetto in this one. And what’s the re-run of her moves? Some of the shit didn’t even go?! I did like the choreography of her alongside Gaga better. They looked cute. I can’t say I was AMAZED by this but it was cute.
I just don’t get why videos don’t go with the theme of the song nowadays? I’m just confused about where the directors went wrong. It was a song about sleeping with a broken heart. She was in that bed for no more than 2 secs than her walking A LOT and might I add, not pretty either. I need her to get lessons from Beyonce and ANTM’s Ms. Jay ASAP!
I guess it was cool that they were superheroes but I would have appreciated a simpler concept like Keyshia Coles “I Remember.” It was simple, pretty, and you got that she was lonely.Now for my positive comment, I liked that purple jumpsuit.
Chris Brown and Cassie make a believable couple. Better than him and Jordan (WAMP). As far as the video, Um.. it was very Christmasy no? Like a Romance movie clip. And I always have fun watching Chris Brown dance. What did the kid have to do with it tho?

right, the vid was just cute, not GENIUS and I think made Beyonce more glamorous on purpose because it was her song but what I would have really liked to see is both bitches looking equally BAD!
that was str8 tactic…lady gaga has been getting too much hype so by pairing her up in that way is just to show that beyonce is the badder bitch…she did the same thing w/ shakira.
